Finished for my nephew Kolby when he was a newborn and I was still struggling with how to quilt so I made it up as I went. I just pulled a bunch of scraps out that seemed to go with the colors in the animal squares. It is way too little so he may need a big boy quilt when I get some of the quilts on my almost unending UFO list done.

The puppy is Rocco my constant companion and one of the bestest of all furry friends. He was 6 weeks old in that picture and he will soon be 5 years old. He is a Bischon Frise and although he is cuter and smarter than some folks I know he is not show quality as he is not snow white and the vet suspects he has a bit more poodle than he should. He is my constant companion and has tried out all of the corners in my sewing room and often keeps my foot that is not on the foot pedal warm buy resting his sweet little head on it. Can you tell I like him? He is in my hand in the picture. He is a total fur ball now.
