Default the "jungle quilt" is finished

A while back I posted a request for advice about thread choices for quilting a jungle-themed quilt, with a color scheme of raspberry and rose pinks (http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...e-t180893.html), and I wanted to show you what it looked like when it was finished. This is still not my favorite quilt, but I am pleased (in a subdued way) about the thread painting on the back. I plan to call it "Picnic in the Jungle"...

Alison

Why in the world don't you like this quilt? It's wonderful! The fabrics are great, especially the focus fabric and the rose backing and your quilt motiff is very creative and well done!

Can I ask where you got the fabrics and did you quilt that on a regular sewing machine?
