My gf had a beautiful baby boy on May 1st they named Oliver. I have been a bad friend, and hadn't made it over there to meet him yet. I had wanted to make him a quilt, but didn't have time before he was born. I finally found some perfect fabric to match the nursery, and got it done start to finish in three days! Quite a feat for me!! I think gingham it is so cute but won't be using it anytime soon. I never realized what a b**** it is to work with! I am happy with it and the size was great to machine quilt. I met Oliver today, he is such a cutie!! I hope you like it!

I love the lay out of the quilt and the printed frabric is so adorable. Yes Gingham can be such a pain to work with.

Very nice! I've never worked with gingham - but it sure looks good in the quilt!

I was given three bolts of gingham, thought about using it in baby quilts. Would you please tell me why it is difficult to work with? Cutting, sewing, raveling, stretching?????? Thanks,Carol

Beautiful! Great job! I love the look of the quilting...

Kbiederman and I worked on a different quilt together with gingham, and it's hard to work with because the 'lines' are hard to match up... do you follow the weave of the cotton or the lines of the print? I think no matter which you do, it's hard to get to look straight!
