    I just finished the binding on the quilt. This is for my grand daughter's birthday which is at the end of October. She will be 12 yrs old, and green and purple are her favorite colors. I hope you can see on the close up picture that there is a dragonfly.

    Hi,

    Thank you, but I can't take credit for the quilting. That was done by one of the ladies at Anderson Fabrics. They have a manufacturing facility for upholstery fabrics, and they also have a quilt shop with some wonderful fabrics. You can take the top and bottom of the quilt to them, they supply the batting that you pick, and then you also have a large variety of patterns to choose from for the quilting. So it is very convenient. I do not have a LA, and I am just beginning to learn FMQ------taking baby steps at that. Think it might take me a long time before I actually try to quilt anything. :)

    I adore the fabrics you chose...It is a beautiful quilt and the quilting is lovely. Thank you for sharing.
