Default Just finished Penguin Quilt

This is my latest quilt - I really enjoyed this pattern from Lisa Moore (you can google for her website). The backing was a stripe fabric - and I won't be choosing stripes for that any more. A lot of work to get it straight.

Love it, love the free standing shadow-box effect, love penguins. I'll bet you did great on the backing also.

I love the floating movement look. Great job. Thank you for sharing.

I tried to add a picture of the back, but it took to long to load and my time was up for editing my post...

Cool! They look like big ice cubes. I bought that fabric for OBW but I haven't started it yet. There is super cool quilt pattern in the new Apr/MayQuilt magazine that is 2 different maze blocks. I added it to my bucket list also. I wish these designers would slow down on their neat pattern production, I can only sew so fast!

Oh, that's lovely. Love the effect. Makes me want to jump from one floating block to the other...lol

Great pattern. The penguins look like they are floating.
