Default Just finished a quilt top

Hi, just finished a quilt to for my DDIL. She went onling and found a pic of this quilt. Emailed me right away and asked if I could do this. She had fabric samples and bed size in hand. So I went home and fiqured out what size blocks and etc what I would need. I decided on 4.5 inch blocks and went to work on the middle. Then measured what I needed for the other 2/3s Great... no, I made a wrong cut on the length of one. Spent a couple of days thinking about it, didn't tell DDIL... went ahead and figured a new heading might work... Put it all together. Sent her a couple of pics and she wrote back "Don't touch or change a thing." She liked the addition. So now to figure out the quilting on it. If I work this right. here is a pic of it... No pattern...

Good job. I like it. Wish I could give suggestions on the quilting part, but I'm one who has to take days or weeks or more to figure out how I want to quilt a quilt.

Nice quilt. I like the way the horizontal line intersects with the verticle line.

I would do diagonal lines coming from the center piece edges It will go real quickly.

What a neat quilt! I'm partial to filling in blank spaces with woodgrain or circles or just wavy lines close together.

Neat modern look! I would look at some of the modern quilts that have a lot of straight line quilting designs in the negative space areas.
