Default Another Scrap Quilt

My three baskets of leftover scraps were overflowing. Can't remember where I found the how-to's for this scrap quilt, but whoever you were, thank you! I just kept making more and more blocks; quilted each block as it was made (over 19 hours just for the quilting), then utilized QAYG sashing to join blocks - 72 blocks totals. Used 22 half-yards cuts (culled out those uglies!) and the end result is a reversible quilt. Problem was, I created more scraps from the half-yard cuts! I'm doomed!! Looking for more scrap quilt suggestions now.

I like how the joining strips on the front are the same fabric as the block borders, making the sashing appear to be wider. I do a lot of QAYG, and I think I will try that for variety.

Thanks for posting!

I always read posts that have "scrap quilt" in the title! Yours is just beautiful, and so is that rug underneath it. Both sides of the quilt are wonderful.
