I used to really love doing needlepoint, but (alas!) I don't see the holes in the canvas very well any more. I've had a lot of fun "discovering" a few of the pieces from the past and working them into projects. The bell pull I did had petit-point irises in yellow with regular needlepoint leaves in several shades of green. I could not bear cutting into it, so I "framed" it with some of my favorite quilting fabrics and put it into a large frame. It was a nice surprise gift for my wife, whose favorite flower is the yellow iris. Sorry: I can't do pictures -- I'm not that technologically minded on a computer.
I really do like your handbag. Beautifully done needlepoint should be featured in some way. There was far too much time and effort put into it to just let it lie unused somewhere. Good job!!

Beautiful way to use needlepoint. The pattern is perfect for your purse. Needlepoint has always been my favorite craft but I quit after I had enough pieces. I may have to relook at several in a new light. Thanks for posting.
