Default just a little watermelon ufo

Each day I go into my sewing room I see these unfinished hot pads. I decided that they had been hanging out long enough so I sewed binding on them and went out into the living room to relax to finish them up. Yea!! Like I said just a little ufo and it is now finished.

My grandson decided to make a pillowcase but did not get it finished before Momma came to pick up the kiddos. This is what I found this morning.

Isn't it nice to finish up a project! Clears ones mind to go onto the next one. Love your grandson's sense of humor!

I made up a list of my UFOs, it's embarrassingly long but I've made a vow to finish 2 UFOs before I start a new project. I love starting new projects. I love the hot pads and your grandson's note made me chuckle. It's so much fun to have your kids or grandkids in the sewing room. Thanks for sharing both.

Such a great note! I guess he has the "eye", where if anyone goes into a sewing room, he will know. Just letting u know! Nice way to use the watermellon fabric.
