just made my first crayon roll

I let my son pick out the fabric(of course it has cars on it) and I just made one of these. No pattern, just winged it. I think it turned out cute. It only hold 16 crayons. Now I can measure the one I made to make sure it holds the right amount. This one might be going to daycare with him.

I gave it to him and he didn't like the crayons in it. He took em all out. I had to convince him to put them all back in.
I think I'm gonna make a tote next. One that can hold crayons and a coloring book.

Great way to get them in the habit of "putting away"...the book bag is a great idea. Thanks for sharing, it's really cute.

Yes, now if I could just get the three of them to always put things away when they are done....lol. I don't think that will ever happen. :)
