... but live and learn, right?

I finished this one in record time last night, and while I like the pattern, I like the quilting pattern, it just wasn't dense enough and it made the quilt look kind of weird. If I had more time I would have put some more quilting, but the person the quilt was for doesn't know the difference anyway. It had potential, but then I just gave up.

I really like it alot. The pattern is very interesting with lots of movement. I think you did a great job. Thanks for sharing. The person you made it for will be thrilled.

I like the design, but not the quilting. I agree with you there, it looks more like outline quilting?

Yeah, I used this pattern, but I didn' make the loops tight enough. I will use this all-over pattern again, but I will make the loops tighter and quilt the rows closer together.

Also, I forgot to mention that it's very small, like 32"x32", more like a wall hanging. I had a lot of fun doing the fmq, I do like the design.

Since it is for someone else, they will be thrilled with it no matter what! I do like the patterns and it isn't nearly as bad as you are thinking it is, in fact...I like it!

I think it is great pattern and colors. As for the quilting, maybe not up to your standards or wishes but like you said for someone else and others don't always appreciate the time or amount of quilting anyway. But I think it looks great ...and....if she should not be happy with it for any reason   I can send my address

It's lovely! I personally like the quilting to be a little further apart. I think the quilt is softer that way.
