Default Kansas Troubles Flowers...quilted by Charisma

well as many of you know i do a scrappy trade with several people.....and I got a box back a couple weeks ago....and this little guy was returned home..isn't he cute? I love that I send out a box of scraps and I am surpised as to what they turn into when they arrive back home....so I just knew I could get him quilted up last night....Love it!
This was made using leftover charms from a charm quilt i made my DBIL a few years ago....and he isn't getting this! It's a keeper!

Wow, looks like two images - one by the piecing, one by the quilting. Both work together like magic!

I love the look of the large applique on block quilts. It's just such a homey touch! Love the colors and pattern in the quilt and the quilting, of course. Thanks for sharing.

I love the way you quilted the border. That is a wonderful "makeover" of your scraps.

I love "Kansas Troubles" fabric (maybe because I'm originally from KS?) & this just shows why they're so awesome. Who knew a "box of leftovers" could turn into such a beautiful work of art! It's spectacular! And you know how I feel about your quilting... perfection, per usual! Especially the border... too perfect! I don't blame you for keeping this one! It would never leave my sight!
