I started with this pattern:

The pattern is for the older generation Kindle and that Kindle is a bit bigger than the newer one. So, I shrank the pattern size. And I was a bit confused at the exact steps that the pattern took to construct the keeper. I am horrible at patterns with no pictures. LOL! I decided to just put it together how I wanted to.

Thank you. I have the older Kindle and my mom has the newer one. I am excited about making covers for them.

Nice! BTW I used the 'flower power' fabric for the bright in my black/white/bright swap blocks.

Ok, so I had to go back and look, and I didn't see any problems. Keep taking closeups and call the little imperfections you see "signature touches".
