Default King BOM my LAer was so impressed with (still don't know why)

Here are some pictures of my king quilt. Remember, it's Civil war fabric so it's not all bright and cheerful. They are all "Stars in a star". I have two borders and each border and a star in each corner, so there is 8 more stars. Now, I can not make a flying goose correctly no matter how hard I try and I had to fudge 128 flying geese. Not one turned out correctly. And I really tried. I did a lot of 1/8" seams so as to not lose the points on the flying geese. The quilt is so big I couldn't lay it flat anywhere in my house. Here is some pictures. Hope they turned out okay. You'll see by the pictures that the quilt isn't any big deal. I don't know what the LAer was talking about when she told my LQS owner what a fantastic job I did on it.
