    Those are cute Marsey but may I offer one small suggestion. The quiltbook the Cats Meow suggests making cat face elements (eyes, nose, whiskers) smaller. She recommends drawing a disecting line through the middle of the head. Place small eyes close together on the disecting line and small nose just below. I tried sketching your design with this small change and I think it brings more emphasis to the outline of the cat shape itself as well as giving the face a more whimsical look.
    I tried attaching the sketch but I don't know if it will work. Saved it as a word file

    I so need that pattern!!!! My grandkids call me "Kitty Gramma", because of my two cats!!!!

    Are they paper pieced? Or appliqued?
