Hi everyone,
I finished this up yesterday with the edgings of quilting fabic. I have never had a little tabby like this, but I had to make it like a tabby. (The pattern showed a black kitty.) This one is for my nieces birthday.

Isn't she cute? "Those wild eyes like I will get you now!" LOL!

Here she is getting the yarn!

Oh, how cute! I love the playful kitty. I hadn't thought about embroidering a pillow case, but I remember now some vintage ones that my MIL and grandmother had. Thanks for sharing.

I remember the tea towels, (we called them kitchen towels back when???) I embroidered with kitties with the days of the week.

I have a state bird quilt I started for my mother years ago that was embroidery. I need to get it out and work on it.

Did you hand embroidery or machine? It is soooo cute just love it. I remember years ago lots of people did those kind of things. :)

Thanks everyone! I like to have something while watching tv to do.

skydiver ... I have a few of those tea towels in my kitchen drawer rignt now. I love them ... Mom did them when she was alive. Yes get it out and finish it. I would love to see it!

Cheryl ... This is done by hand. I have a set of pillowcases with mermaids I am making for my sis who lives near the beach. She is going to love them!

Nice idea using the quilt fabric on the edge.
