Default Cherokee Heritage...quilted by Charisma

Jodi sent me this quilt...she has Cherokee in her lineage..and wanted to honor that with this quilt.

I have to say this had my stumped a bit..I think because it's not everday that I get a southwest or navaho type pattern. so thining baout how to accent each area...I had to think Nature...
she requested feathers and Charisma Curls... I did include a bit of those...but In the center star I wanted to quilt a mroe traditional bird looking feather to go with the theme of the quilt. ....I also added water designs..nice finish!

Thanks so much for looking!
Thanks Jodi!

I also have Cherokee lineage and I love anything on that line. The quilt is beautiful and you did a great job with the quilting. The top looks very well done also. I love it.

This quilt-colors & theme is beautiful. And the quilting you did just brings it out. Added to my favorites. I could look at this for a long time each time I passed it.
