This is a top I did this weekend for my daughter. It's a little larger than a lap quilt. A friend of ours did the butterflies featured in the center. She has one of those really cool does everything computerized machine.

The colors aren't quite to my liking, but my daughter picked them out and she's thrilled with the outcome. Flaws and all :)

Now I can start on my husband's Halloween quilt!!! I'm so excited.



Top finished in one weekend. I'm proud of myself!

As usually happens, when you put colors together that aren't exactly your favorite, the result turns out beautiful! I like the ladies.

I LOVE this one!!! Yep, your daughter did great with the lady fabric and your friend rocks on that embroidery machine!! Wonderful job!! and in only one weekend to boot!! How cool is that!

I love the bottom blocks too.

You must share your Halloween quilt with us. It is my favorite holiday. Have been stashing blocks for years to make a Halloween quilt--maybe this year, maybe not :wink:
