I have a Janome too, but a very basic one. Is that what you would call a medium arm machine? The throat looks pretty high, can you fit a rolled up quilt in it? I am sort of machine shopping and I want something I can fit a rolled queen quilt in. There's no way I'll get a long arm, for many many reasons, at least until the kindergartener goes off to college.

I like Janomes, can you tell me more about yours?

Melissa

I'm 50ish and my DD is 30. The first time that she saw ThreadBanger on my TIVO, she said" Mother, what are you watching!!!". I love their ideas and the fact that more young people are sewing and repurposing without hesitation and rules. They give away sewing machines, how great is that!!! Love your new baby. DIY or Die!!! i like janomes, just brought my daughter her 1st machine, a 3128 basic basic. i think it's awsome to see young people interested in sewing and creating, too. since you two have slept together, what do you think of her now? phyllis
