    Watched Nancy on PBS yesterday. Here is my first attempt at landscape picture quilting.
    Green=from chefs quilt=lettuce
    butterflies= GGD graduation quilt
    Large red flowers=my husbands birthday shirt
    Sun==GD fruit sundress
    clouds=polyester batting--applied with needle punch machine and oversewn
    Small flowers from scraps

    Hope you enjoy.

    Oh how pretty. Yes 10 years ago she and Natalie did their first program. I had always wanted a floral wallhanging but the thought of all those edges to turn under-ugg. Then I saw the program and thought how dumb am I. I had been using raw edges and fusible web on sweatshirts for years and reembroidering the flowers. But the quilt police had said no raw edges on quilts.

    My favorite books of theirs has kids quilts with their names in the sky.

    Oh you are going to have such fun doing more

    I saw that show. Loved it too. Try it. Saved in on the DVR to do someday.
