I volunteer at a local food bank on a regular basis. There is one man there that I used to not care for very much but noticed that he worked very hard. Sometimes people just don't have good people skills. But the more I was around him, I have come to like him and really enjoy working with him. He has a great work ethic and doesn't pawn anything on anybody else that he can do himself. For Christmas, I made him a wall-hanging of my favorite animal, the Missouri Mule. They are both smart, strong and stubborn. The warehouse guys felt that I should have used Ass instead of Mule, but that is the difference between men and boys. Here are some pics to share.

I love your story and the quilt, too!! Life is funny that way isn't it? If we can just get beyond our initial impressions of most people, we find that they are very special individuals and touch our lives in so many wonderful ways. ;)
