Laney Bag
#12
Hi girls! Thank you so much for all your sweet comments. I really do appreciate it. I am very happy with this pattern. It was free at pellon.com.
Very easy to make with the lightweight outdoor outer fabric, very durable. ( I caught it on sale down from 12 dollars a yard to 4 dollars!) The inside fabric is a red rooster cotton from my stash and yes there is a pocket inside. There is supposed to be ties to close it up, but, I didn't think that would be a functional closure, so I used a magnetic snap. I couldn't see myself using ties on a bag, so I figured no one else would either. I was surprised how light weight the bag is now finished. That is why I think it will be great for a shopper bag to take to a craft fair.
Thank you so much lynnie! I am excited that it is almost ready to send for the charity. That is very sweet of you.
