Here in Ok, I have never been asked to partake in the making of our guild raffle quilts...yes, they invite you to the clique, you just don't get to volunteer!

In AK it was so much nicer and more fun.

Here are a few of the quilts I helped design/make while in AK.

mamma fish, not sure of the artist

DC Close up group raffle quilt designed by me, made by the students.

Camai raffle quilt, Barbara Lavallee print used. this was done as a mystery/puzzle quilt! 20 people made a block!

Ketchikan quild raffle quilt 2001 this was a foundation crazy quilt with the gold being the one common fabric.

ketchikan centennial quilt made by guild members and hand quilted by thousands of people including tourists. Hangs in the Museum now.

I haven't made one either (lone quilter here!). Your work is amazing...love your designs and the Camai raffle quilt, well, I think it is beautiful, lots of energy and colour in it. OK don't know what they are missing!

thanks..I love making my own quilts, but when you can work with others to produce such great art..it is so much more enjoyable..I really miss it!

Your quilts are beautiful, I am sorry about the clique situation at your local guild. Some are nicer than others!

thank you..it was super easy..just looks hard. The International president at the time was from India and he won it!

Your work is wonderful.

My current avatar is Christmas in stained glass quilt given for silent and "e-auction" for Aids Resource Alliance (ARA)...winning bid $500, went all the way to California.
