Default lap quilt with fans

B Arnold posted a fine fan quilt. I adjusted her design in several ways to work with my fabrics. In between bouts of being sick and weak, I made the blocks. When I was feeling better, I started putting it together for a lap quilt for my DH. Then I realized that I had made too many. DH said he wanted me to make one block into a lap quilt for the cat, since our spoiled and opinionated cat won't sit on a lap that does not have a quilt. This is a problem of my own making, as Mr. Tiger is not allowed on my lap when it does not have a quilt. I guess he likes it because after I left it on my office chair last night, he slept on it.

The quilt is 26" square (not distorted, as it appears). The background fabric and the beige wood-look are NOT imports from Japan. The others are.

Nice! All my fur babies have their own quilts and use them but only if they are on a couch or chair, so spoiled, sometimes I think I the only reason I have furniture is for them, as I spend most of the day in my sewing chair.

It's lovely. I agree with DOTTYMO, I would enjoy seeing a picture of Mr. Tiger on his quilt.
