Default AT LAST! done with Christmas gifts.

I'm having menu problems with the camera, so the color is off. This grandson wanted a "shore" theme.

Tthanks to those of you who recommended marshaldrygoods.com. The selection, speed and price were all good. I had planned something else entirely until I saw this center fabric. I will make a second one for a foster child from the other half of this fabric.

Very nice....I especially like that you did not make the center a square or rectangle! Very clever!

I love it, great pattern to use a large print fabric.

Congratulations! Very nice work! Lighthouses are such beacons of good quilting inspirations.

I like your idea of not having the center square, great looking quilt.

Thank you all. This is a variant of a quilt layout I have done a number of times and will do many more times. It is VERY fast. (my first took me 2.5 hrs up to the binding.) The center segment is generally 22x27, which is positioned and quilted on backing and batting. A few rounds, corners and border and this QAYG is ready to bind. It is a great showcase for large scale prints and great for last minute baby gifts.
