You sure change me mind over Sampler QTs. I thought they were unwanted blks & augly sp? blk. I had made up my mind to stay away from them. Now I need to start making plans for one. You did a wonderful job. Thanks for sharing Theresse

Thank you again. I have made the shams, just need to quilt and put on the prarie points on them. I think I have enough to also make a small throw pillow too.
Presently, I am working on Emily's Garden quilt from Connecting Threads. I am not sure I really care for the material as it seems to fray alot.

Gorgeous quilt!!! Well worth the wait. Glad the RA didn't stop you from completing it. Will look great with shams on the bed.

I love your sampler quilt. So pretty and well done.

Someone at one time posted a quilter who sang a song about making quilts. It was hillarious! She suggested you just go ahead and lop off those points and get it over with ...LOL!
I bought three books and read them over and over because of those crazy points. I was talking to a teacher at a local quilt shop some time ago and she in one moment of inspiration taught me to make them. It was a combination of things I was doing that all added up.

Hey RedGarnet.
What were the things your quilt shop told you? Love to hear.
I bought a small light that I attached to my machine and it has helped with accuracy. I didn't have enough light to see what I was sewing. I now sew slower and with more control to keep the 1/4 in. seam. I also try the scant 1/4"
