Love your work!
Thank you all for your kind and generous comments! My Lenni arrived at the end of October this year. I have only tried pantos at the beginner class they provide with the purchase of the machine. Having started FMQIng on my Sweet 16 Sitdown about 3 years ago, have found a lot of the skills are transferable. However, having to do patterns in all directions really messes with my head! Lol! As for other challenges, loading the quilt still intimidates me. Turning corners on a border, keeping consistent size and spacing, tension etc etc. I work on these things every quilt, and it takes a long time to see progress, but it's baby steps with lots of practice before I actually start to see I'm making headway.

Volunteering to quilt for the Q4Kids group has really helped me progress, as it gives me many quilts to practice on, without undue stress of getting things perfect, or fear of wrecking a giant quilt I've spent months piecing. I try to do something new to me on every quilt, just to push me a bit to expand my skills. The more you learn, the easier it is to do something new. Plus I get bored really easy, so perfect or not, I have to try something new! It's so much fun!

Lovely quilt that some lucky youngster is going to receive! And your quilting and variety of designs in the blocks is outstanding! Looks to me like you already know what you are doing. You have really taken control of your new set up and made it sing for you. Thanks for showing this quilt. I love it!
