First picture is a bit washed out, the second one is more accurate color wise. Glad y'all like it, and thanks for looking!

That is a beautiful quilt top. Do you mind telling where you found the pattern? Also I guess this might be a duh...question, but what is a piano key border?

well, I didn't use a pattern, just cut fabric into 6.5" squares.
put a pink and a green face to face.
draw diagonal line on the pink square top right to bottom left.
stitch a seam 1/4" on either side of the line.. cut on the line between the seams. press blocks open, then arrange 4 of them into a pinwheel.. that's it!
If that doesn't make sense PM me and I'll help you.
a piano key border is a border of strips very plain, mine will be 6.5" long strips, 2.5" wide but alternate the colors.. sort of like the keys on a piano.
