Default Last Quilts for 2 little boys

Hello again, I got such nice compliments on my log cabin, I thought I'd post these latest quilts for preview. I'm making quilts for every one in my congregation which is actually very small so not as huge a job as one would think. These two little boys, ages 4 and 5 are the next recipents of quilts. They'll get them tomorrow after our meeting.

I had 2 different dinosaur fabrics I picked up back around 2005 for whatever reason but that I liked them. This 1st quilt pattern I found in a Fons & Porter magazine called Grinch's Xmas but I've seen the pattern under another name too. I used the same quilting patterns from Munnich's site......Dinosaurs E2E. I separated the dinosaurs into separate patterns for the border and then added the initial in the corner for the particular boy. I also decided to use up what dinosaur fabric I had leftover on the backside down the center. I used black backing knowing these little boys will be making use of the quilt dragging it around so the dirt won't show as much.

The 2nd quilt is a D9P which I'm really impressed how it turned out as its the 1st one I've tried to make. Sure looks different from before you cut it in half. I liked the pattern so much I'm making another one but for an adult male in blues, browns, beiges with black as the center block.

Thanks for looking.

Very nice, I especially love the detail of the dinosaurs along the borders.
