Instead of working on my B/W/G Dear Jane block swap I took a paper piecing class and a class on a table runner with curves in it the last two Saturdays to gain experience doing both for the DJ cyber sew. They were both a lot of fun. The paper piecing was a Christmas tree wallhanging. The table runner is not finished. I still need to quilt it and attach the appliques. The appliques are pinned on. They still need to be trimmed. Now I have to get busy on my blocks for the swap. :-)

Hope you like both of them. Thanks for looking.

Those are both great! What a wonderful present for yourself, that you can keep using all year long!

LOL, only if I had a dining room and a dining room table. Our kitchen is even to small for a table. I think I'm going to give the table runner to our niece-in-law with some matching placemats. Her dad made her a BIG farm type dining table for a wedding gift last May. The table is beautiful.

Love the tree. Where did you get the pattern?
