Love this pattern! I've made several and they always turn out stunning. My most recent was made with animal prints and I made a patchwork border all around. Before I decided to make the big star I had sewn together 2.5" strips of the prints, thinking I would do something from there, but decided to keep it simple instead. When I got the star pieced, it just needed a little extra. So, I cut the strips into pieced squares and stitched them around for a frame look. I like to use minkee on the backs, it makes it so soft & cozy.
Love the colors in your quilt! So lively & perky!
