I think all your effort was worth it. You are right, some little girl will love it until it is no more.

Thanks for sharing your story! I especially like the red/yellow border on your boy quilt. For me, the cornerstone blocks makes the border special.

A great story. Well worth the time you spent remaking the quilt. A little girl will love it for a very long time.
A boy will love the other one you made. Just think of the joy a girl and boy will feel having these great quilts.
