It was done by my laq friend. She used a variegated thread that matched the fabric and did loops and swirls. She does such a wonderful job.

This is the one I made in Batiks. The colors are a lot richer than the picture shows. It is not quilted yet. I will probably use variegated thread and a panto

Lovely! I like the batiks. I had such a time doing mine. I kept getting the joining squares rotated! It was wild. I love it now that it is finished.
