Default Latest Twister Project

I took photos at different times to show how it came together. The colors I used are actually red and purple, but it may not show up in the photos.

Here's what it looked like early on, after I'd sewn the first two rows.

This is what it looked like after several rows had been sewn. Not very interesting at this point.

The end result! Now I need to decide what to use for the backing and binding. Any ideas?

BTW, I found a "Twist & Stitch" ruler at Joann's. I like that much better than the little square ruler I got when I took the class at a LQS.

Cute little project. It's begging for a border. Alternate red and purple blocks, circles, mini pinwheels, anything you like, to expand the white border at least the width of one block all the way around would be helfpul. It's darling.

Cute. I agree with sewdarnbusy - - it needs a border. Have fun finishing it.

Very pretty and a nice way to use the rose fabric.

I'd use the red for a border. Or do a red in a thin and then the blue a bit wider.

These twister quilts look like so much fun! The ruler is just sitting in my collection waiting to be used. Please post it again once you've added your borders. Can't wait to see it.

No pic yet because it's still not finished, but I did add a narrow plain purple border and will finish it off with the binding, which will be from the red rose fabric I used in the top. Also using the red rose fabric for the backing.
