The quilt is lovely. I have a lot of fond memories of Grand Junction - and I have been through Fruita. Used to be heavily into photography. Some of my best photos were taken from around Grand Junction and Arches/Canyonland. My favorite thing in the area is the chrome bumper buffalo in front of the bank.

"Cheerful" really is a good way to describe it! I, too, love the quilting. This is a charmer!

When I originally saw this post I didn't look at your avatar so I didn't realize that you were from Grand Junction. I have been there a few times. My DH and I honeymooned in Glenwood Springs at the Hotel Colorado. We have been back to Colorado numerous times and will probably retire to the Pagosa Springs area.

I like your quilt. My dad and uncle stopped in Fruita many years ago to pick fruit on their way out of the dust bowl of Nebraska/Kansas. They ended up in Idaho and Oregon however my uncle finished his life in GJ. We visited Fruita when we were in GJ. I love that area.

There's nothing like color. This quilt is eye candy.
