Here is the start of laying out my black and red quilt. The blocks are all sizes, so filler here and there will be needed. There are 5 different blocks, all made in two different sizes.

Now the fun begins on how to get it all put together.

The cats have already been playing with the blocks, I think I am going to have to work on it today whether I want to or not now that it is on the floor.

I know have to figure what is going in the spaces, I have left over pieccs frommhe blocks as well as another red that is different than what is already used.

WooHoo that is awesome!!! Loved watching the blocks all come togther and they ALL play together nicely, I really like your layout!!! :D :D :D
What fabrics are you planning on using for fillers???

I thought to use up some of the scraps form the blocks and then I have this other red pieces that I thought maybe. I am kind of nervous, there is not straight rows, so there will be some corners etc going in, but what can I do, I don't want that look.

left over pieces
