I am working on my first OBW and because I didn't have enough distinctive colors in the original fabric, I couldn't put the hexs together, so I set them apart and now have to figure out which background to use. Will take any advice and thank you for it.

it's a toss up between the rose and the purple. But then purple is my favorite color!!

I like the rose, but the green is a nice compliment as well!

I'm not a fan of pink, but I like the rose the best.

I think the green is the perfect contrast! It gives a light airy feel. If you want a more dramatic look, go with the rose... Can't wait to see it finished!

I don't think the rose will work because you will lose the top of the boxes.

I think I like the rose background the best my second choice is the green. Any of the fabrics would work. Which do you like best?

That's a hard decision. Each background fabric pulls from the colors in the blocks. My choice would be the blue or the green. They both pull colors from the blocks that I would not have noticed before.

I like the green but it's too calm for me... the rose makes it pop IMHO
Oh I didn't see the Boxes... yes, you would lose the box tops if you use the rose as the background... this would go back to the green...
