I've been a bit quiet lately - been keeping up, but had trouble with my hands, still not a definite diagnosis so typing/sewing painful, but alot easier now.
This are the two blocks which will make my new quilt (queen). Blocks are ten & a half ins. square. I am rotary cutting it, and think you can see having trouble with the centre perimeter section on the union block. The lilac points are half of 2 & five-eighths sq. The cream triangle is quarter of 4 & three-quarter sq. & no matter how I try they dont line up with the rest of it all. Thought about cutting the cream same as the lilac points but think the centre seam would spoil the effect.
Anyway I think it will go together okay, dont you?
