Lilraine's Flaming Hot Peppers..quilted by Charisma

Well Lilraine..lives in the same state as I do ..but unfortunatley we are hours apart...she sent this to me for LAQ. I had not seen it before the box arrived....it is different from anything I have every recieved..and I thought it was great!...But all I could immediatly see were FLAMES in the outer border.

I knew she was going to enter this in her guild show which is in a few weeks. It's a fabulous quilt..Fabulous piecing..all needle turn applique, Mitered borders contsructed beautifully.

We settled on vines and leaves in the green areas an outline for the peppers...and of course flames in the border. Two different colored threads. Warm adn Natural batting.

    Great quilt Lil!

Too cute! All those little pieces....I would have thrown up my hands in frustration.

As usual, your quilting is perfect!

Oooooh-eee! Talk about red hot chili peppers! This is a gem! And your quilting, per usual, compliments it perfectly. I love it!
