    Here are a few more.

I love doing this string quilt pattern as it is so quick, easy and fun. Have done it in black, white & red and also in assorted misc. sraps and scraps of one color family. No two are ever alike.

Very nice quilts, I must try one of the string quilts after the holidays. I love donating to Linus charity. Win-win situation for all

The average size of the quilts I make for Project Linus is 44 inches by 48 inches. Suitable for a child to cuddle under or a larger childs lap quilt.
This is the size I can handle most easily, quickly and economicly.
Have made some larger but those are mostly rag quilts.

The string quilts are strips sewn diagonally to a base square of light weight non-fusible interfacing. Once the strips are sewn to the base, the blocks are squared up. Then the fun begins; arranging the blocks.
Have arranged them in both a zig zag and, as in the black, white & yellow, to look like squares on point. Like the on-point arrangement best.
