Default LionKing-themed nursery quilt

My daughter asked me to make a Lion King baby quilt for her friend's baby, but I found that Disney does not license Lion King for fabrics. Found this 16" center block in my stash. Have no idea how long I've had it or where it came from!

Quilted with stitch in ditch along the borders and sashing, and free motion outline of the animals and plants.

DD wanted all jungle prints to surround the center, and this is what she came up with. Not overly happy with it but it sure was exactly what my DD wanted. Hope the mother-to-be is a thrilled!

I think it looks great! The baby will not "outgrow" the theme too soon! It just isn't the cartoon everyone is accustomed to.Good job!

So cute, you did an awesome job. My grandson loves anything lions or Lion King, I showed him this quilt and he asked me to make him one just like this! Thanks for the idea, I will see what I can do for him!
