I remember my mom asking me whether I wanted a brother or sister. I told her I wanted a brother like all my friends had. When she brought the brother home he was a baby. She didn't understand why I was upset. All my friends had brothers older than us, and could take us places. Love the quilt your grand daughter made for her brother to be.!!

When I was her age, I enjoyed sewing with my Grandma too but she wasn't a quilter but her half sister was who became my mentor.

Pretty quilt and good job to her for helping to make him a great quilt. You know the second she holds her brother she'll forget all about wanting a sister.
