Well, I finally feel like I've made progress with this quilt! It seems like it has gone really slowly, but I guess since I had to do embroidery, then applique...then piecing...and try to figure out what I wanted to do as I went along...anyway I did get some of the blocks sewn together today. DH was happy, but not as excited as I felt he should be, so I'm sharing with ya'll instead.

I haven't sewn down the "Our Little Boy" applique banner for the top yet..doing that now. I think I will do a 1" border with the peach, then a 3" outer border with the frogs, then bind with the red. What do ya'll think?

Isn't that frog fabric the cutest??? I couldn't believe I found it..ran across it the other day and ordered it from Thousands of Bolts. It is just darling!

Here are the border/binding options along with the froggie fabric for the border and back.

Inner border- peach? binding- red?

This will be a 3" border on the front and will also be the backing

Super cute!!! Everything turned out great! and yes, the frog is the cutest! Love the border fabric! Love the snail too!

PS - I see your Dear Jane practice blocks! They fit in perfectly!
