Thread: Little critters quilt in 1930's reproduction fabric

I just call it that, basically just start making things now for a future grand baby. Basically like a regular hope chest only for the baby. Start putting in a few blankets, afghans, outfits etc.

What a darling little quilt. I'm sure your friend's baby is going to love it. I like the embroidery but also like the nice bright, happy colors you have chosen. Great job. Thanks for sharing.

It's the machine embroidery applique designs. These designs are from emblibrary.com. Yes, I cheated. I didn't do the applique the normal way. For the life of me, I could get the satin stitch to look right.

Really cute. What's not to love?? The colors are great, Kids love bright colors. All the little critters are so cute.
