Here is the quilt girls...It turned out a little different from the original pattern.( My unintentional design re alignment) But the top is ready to be quilted. Maybe next one, Leslee, will be more in the image of the original, in batiks though. :D

That's very pretty Sandra. Are the flowers appliqued or embroidered. Nice one :thumbup:

They are appliqued. But I am thinking of a little more....here is the new idea.

Thought they were but didn't want to say in case I got it wrong :) I love applique, like the pictorial view of an applique quilt. Really like the way you've extended the inner pieced boarder into the miters of the outer boarder. I think your additions look great and the leaf shapes you have added in the center create a circular frame for your cental block, very very nice Sandra :thumbup:

Great looking quilt. I like both of them but I think the second picture looks a little better. Keep up the great work.

Those new blue leaves really bring the center & the border together, it's going to be a lovely quilt, what size is it?

Sandra, the outer border flowers look painted on. this is so pretty. How did you applique the flowers? You do such a wonderful job and an inspiration to us all.
