    Little Gem Quilt***posting for my friend piecebypiece also on this board

    I thought I would post this to show how sometimes quilting a round design in a square block takes your mind away from the idea that it is a square block. She did a beautiful job on this quilt!

    I have always believed that once the top gets quilted that the whole thing takes on a new character

    I think it is a creative and very effective interpretation. Lovely quilt and lovely quilting!

    Lovely! You are quite right it works beautifully and somehow you see the two patterns merging yet separate (sounds weird but hopefully you know what I mean).
