Default Little girl swinging under an apple tree.

I made this for my Doctor, who is moving to Seattle in August. She has been my Doctor for 9 years.
I see her tomorrow for my annual physical and plan on giving it to her then. It will most likely be my last visit with her.

I found the tutorial in a newsletter I get. Here is the link to it:
http://comfortstitching.typepad.co.u...-tutorial.html

It is all top sewn, the fabric is just placed on top and sewn like a rough edge applique.

The last picture is of the label. It says "Safe journey Robin June 2014"
I usually put another custom label on my work.

What a neat gift for your dr. Don't you hate it when a good dr. moves away or retires? I sure do! She will love this!

Interesting concept. Your application is really pretty and I know your doctor/friend will love it.

I can hear and understand your sadness at having your doctor of 9 years move away. It's hard to find a good doc.
The quilt is beautiful and sure to be loved. Thanks for sharing the newsletter link.
