Default Scrap buster update

I've decided a table runner and 6 placemats for everyday use is what I am working towards. I have the table runner top done and 2. 13X18-1/2 placemat tops done. I left the placemats a little big and I will trim all 6 to the same size after quilting and before binding in black. I am going to put the black and white cow spots fabric on the back.

WOW, your scrap buster project is coming along nicely. I really need to start something like that. I love the black sashing between the rows. I love black in quilts for pop. Can't wait to see them all bound & finished.

I probably have 200 or 300 times more scraps. I canot begin to guess how many quilts of all sizes I have made using my scraps. I have scraps from scraps. I am of the belief that I will never use them up.

Tartan, I am really impressed with your scrap busters. As soon as my shoulder gets fixed I want to try your tutorial on these items. Wonderful use of scraps.

i can honestly say that 95% of my fabric is scraps. i want to use them all up, but I'm afraid if i do, i'll need that piece. How does one get over that feeling.
i love the black stripes. wonderful work so far.
