They look great, but do you mean they are made of inferior fabric when you say flimsy. That is what it's always meant when I have heard it used. I hope not.

Oh no..to me a quilt flimsy is just the top...no batting or backing. Quilting is the next part of the process...I will sit down and get these quilted and then bound. As mentioned earlier I have the backing and bindings all ready to go. Sometimes I dig through the scraps to find fabric that coordinates with the top.

WOW, your miniatures are fantastic, especially with the flying geese, even if they were PP, they came out great. Keep up the good work.

Thanks G for the link. I'll have to check it out. I'm glad I could help in the mini dept. LOL It is my obsession too as you know. Minis are just so much fun! And so many opportunities to play with ideas.

I love the idea of using them on your tree. And letting your family choose which ones they want is a great way to use them! I've given my dils and dd hotpads years ago but that was before I got into the real minis that I do now.
I might have to take your idea and use it on my tree!
