Okay, this is my second quilt. Well, real finished one. lol. Made it for my husbands coworker who just had a baby. Hubby was all excited and asked me to make one, and I agreed before really thinking it out.

My 18 year old dd picked the fabric, though I wanted something more like "Little Rascals" but for girls, she picked this because it's something she can grow with.

I am SOOOOOOOOO nervous about it. I don't think I'm 'good enough' yet to be making things for people. Well, people that aren't super close to us. lol I'm also nervous because I'm so afraid, after all the money spent on it and all time devoted to it, that they just won't...... well...... love it. I'll get over it, I guess that's just part of the territory. lol

That is very pretty and it will be loved!!!

BUT it's time and past to have a small chat with DH, letting him know just how many quilts you may or may NOT want to make for HIS co-worker's kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, friends of the co-workers, neighbors of the co-workers, friends of the friends' grandkids, etc.

This could get old real fast, and once you do it for one person, that will set you up for many, many years of doing for folks you may never have met nor will ever meet.

I had that same problem with ex-DH and his friends who wanted clothes mended and suddenly after ONE single shirt mended, exDH came home with an armful of clothes that needed mending.

I didn't do anything about them, let the dog sleep on them till the owners came and retrieved them. With dog hair on them.

Relax - it's adorable. Your DD has a good eye for fabric.
